Straight from the Twilight Zone
So it's been a wierd week in the crazy lead up to ElectAnotherMinority Monday.
Myron Thompson wants a "Good Christian Government". His party doesn't believe they exist.
We also had this great exchange:
Buzz Hargrove: "Vote for a Separist to Keep Canada Strong."
Paul Martin: "Jack Layton isn't mean enough, he's a separist too"
Stephen Harper: "Take it back...culture of entitlement...Stand up for Canada"
Paul Martin: "I've never doubted Harper's Patriotism...Except for that one time...and this time..."
For those of you tuning in late in the game, Buzz originally endorsed Martin because Harper would get in bed with the separatists. Buzz also Strongarmed Layton into not forcing an election last spring. As Peter Worthington points out - Vintage Buzz.
In the Tory ranks Mr. Harper's big appeal was that a conservative government wouldn't be able to do anything. The man who wants to lead Canada asking for a mandate on the basis he won't be able to. Only at election time and only in Ontario. Oh wait, then he changed his mind.
Four days left folks. It's only going to get more desperate.

Don't forget this one!
From King Ed:
"These are not progressive people," Broadbent told a news conference in Ottawa Friday. "The only time they talked about being progressive is in the dying days of the campaign. It's the only time they use the word -- when they try to go after the votes of ordinary people who are indicating they're going to vote for the NDP. Well I can tell you that this time it's not going to happen."
"The Liberal campaigning has been deeply offensive," Broadbent continued. "Offensive to women, offensive to workers, and offensive to members of the armed forces, and offensive to all Canadians for suggesting that a vote for anyone but themselves is not progressive. This, my friends, is the height of arrogance. It is clear the Liberal Party no longer has the moral authority to deserve people's votes. Their cynical manipulation … will not work this time."
-- oh, no you didn't! LOL!
